Fridays at Five - Saturday in the Park

Saturday in the park... I think it was the 14th of June. (Sorry, I was trying to be clever and pull a classic rock lyric from Chicago) In any event, after a week of oppressive heat in the Washington, D.C. area, a brief respite has inspired me to suggest visiting your local park this weekend. The other motivating factor comes from a recent engagement shoot I've been processing. It's been my experience that people are easier to photograph when you take them out of the studio. They smile more naturally, they goof around... if you're there with your camera, capturing "moments" instead of just "pictures" tends to occur more often.

With that in mind, find your favorite model (spouses who normally don't like to be photographed can usually be convinced to go for a walk) and take your camera to your local park.
