Worth checking out, especially if you grew up with Jim Henson's Muppets - July 12 - October 5th, 2008 at the Smithsonian International Gallery in Washington, DC. you'll find the traveling exhibition "Jim Henson's Fantastic World" You can find directions, here.

Also at the Smithsonian, this time at the National Portrait Gallery, two exhibits close on Monday, September 1st. A collection by Edward Steichen, considered one of the great portrait photographers of the early 20th century, and a collection by Zaida Ben-Yusuf, a fashion photographer who help usher in the beginning of the 20th century.

Finally, don't forget that we've extended our "Creative Lighting" contest for another month, and doubled the prize to $50 - get more details, here.
