Portrait Photography - School Pictures - Northern Virginia

With school picture season upon us, I wanted to take a minute to welcome any parents who might be visiting the blog and any school administrators who might be interested in our portrait photography services. Like all of our packages, our school sessions come with password protected galleries for each student - which you will receive from your child's teacher when the photos are ready for previewing. If you have any questions about your pictures, or are looking for a school photographer for next year, we'd love to hear from you. You can contact us at: information@townerjones.com

The following photo was shared with permission from the subject's parents. (they're good friends of ours!)

onOne University Webinar

For my fellow Apple iTunes and onOne Software friends. I wanted to point out that onOne's fantastic "onOne University Webinars" (available for free, here.) are now included on iTunes as the onOne University Podcast. What I've found to be a really useful iPad technique - download a tutorial like these and have it running next to you when you're working on your main computer. This way, you don't tax the computing resources on your machine. It works great and it's extremely helpful to have the tutorial running along side you in real time... Hope you enjoy!

Portrait Photography - Little Ian - Northern Virginia

(Sorry for the short hiatus, gang. Rose, the kids and I went through another round of illness - it's been a rough winter... we're ready for Spring's fresh air! Thanks for the extra prayers. We're on the mend.)

We had the pleasure of photographing one of our regular clients on his first birthday. We've had such a blast seeing Ian grow up as we've been his official photographers since his mom's maternity shoot a little more than a year ago.

I wish I could take credit for the cute photo concept below - but credit goes to Ian's mom, Cody. They have purchased an adult size shirt (which fits Ian's dad) and the plan is to photograph him in it on each birthday so we can see him grow up. Too cool.

Here's the first shot of the little guy in his new threads.
