Engagement - Natalie and Proben - Northern Virginia

As I mentioned on Monday, we had a super busy autumn filled with weddings and portrait sessions. I want to get you caught up on some of those shoots, so today I'm putting up a few from my time with Natalie and Proben in the Manassas Battlefields. These two were really fun and very comfortable in front of the lens, combine that with the deep rich colors of golden hour in the fall and the resulting photos were very pleasing.

I look forward to sharing more of these two when we shoot their wedding in May.

Engagement Photography - Cami and Daniel - Northern Virginia

Spent the morning down the road in Nokesville, VA shooting engagement photos for a fantastic couple, Cami and Daniel, who on January 1st will be our first wedding shoot of 2011. Thanks guys for this morning, I had a blast working with you! Here's some teaser photos from their session.

Engagement - Katie and Patrick

After being rained out... twice... we managed to get out into a wonderful neighborhood park for an engagement shoot with Katie and Patrick. These two are getting married in a few weeks and you can tell when your around them just how excited and how much in love they are. We spent a fair amount of time down in the woods along side a creek - but this shot of the couple in the middle of a small, sunlit meadow was one of my favorites. More to come.

Engagement - Sabina and Robert

As the spring wedding season continues to blossom, I had the chance to work with a really fun couple in the studio. We met Sabina and Robert at the Stonewall Bridal Show back in February, and just knew we had to get them in front of the camera. Thanks to both of you for giving us the chance catch some great studio portraits. Here's just a few of my favorites.

Engagement - Lisa and Jeremiah

Had the pleasure of heading out on one of the first nice days in March with some awesome clients (and great friends!), Lisa and Jeremiah. We're going to be shooting Lisa and Jeremiah's wedding in May, so we wanted to make sure to capture some engagement photos ahead of time. First we headed down to old-town Warrenton (Lisa's hometown) and then to a set of train tracks back in Gainesville. All in all, we had a blast and the frames that came out of the shoot were excellent.

On a personal note - It was a gorgeous day, so I brought the old D200 along for the ride and enjoyed the heck out of shooting with my old trusty!
